A few of the Upcoming Events & Meetings

Saturday, November 12
Movie Night In Old Oklahoma – at Trinity Baptist Church,1703 W 41st St, Tulsa. $7.50 donation per adult and $5 donation per child 8 to 17 includes a soft drink, bag of popcorn, and a wonderful John Wayne Classic about our part of the country!! 6:30–8:30pm. Proceeds benefit the Route 66 Village.

Saturday, November 12
Big Band Hangar Dance – Come as you are or dress up in your best 1940’s getup and dance the night away! Don’t know how to swing dance? Don’t worry! We’ll teach you how! Plus, you can get up close and personal with rare WWII warbirds including a P-51 Mustang, C-47 Skytrain, Stearman, PT-19 and L-3! Tulsa Tech – Riverside Campus, 801 E. 91st St., Tulsa, 6-11pm.

Saturday, November 12
Open House Reception to Honor Sculptor Patrick Sullivan,
creator of soon-to-be-placed art for Howard Park on Southwest Boulevard/Historic Route 66. Red Fork Art Gallery, 6 to 8 pm.
The sculptures were commissioned by the City of Tulsa and will be completed around the end of November. Mr. Sullivan will have smaller sculptures on display in the gallery that will be for sale. Light hors d’oeurves will be served along with birthday cake as it will be Patrick’s birthday November 12th.

Sunday, November 13
Liv Women’s Demo At Turkey Mountain Bike Trails 10AM-4PM- Liv 2017 Mountain Bikes will be available to demo. Photo ID and Credit Card are required to demo bikes. Please bring your own helmet and shoes. Try as many bikes as you like, we just ask to keep your ride around 30-45 minutes.

Monday, November 14

Red Fork Art Gallery hosts “Dirty Brush Club”– Local artists are invited to come by the Gallery and paint together on the 2nd Monday of the month from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  This will be a good time to share stories, techniques and a little coffee or cold drink.

Friday, November 18
The Annual Lighting of the Christmas Train.  Come for the lighting of the Meteor, bring the kids, and stay to see Santa at the Trolley. 3770 Southwest Blvd., 6pm. The Route 66 Historical Village is an Official Toys-4Tots Marine Corp. League Dropoff Location.
